Percy Tours organise and conduct many Wine Tours of the Hermanus region. We specialise in offering designer tours and therefore we offer you utmost freedom to visit any wineries that you wish to.

The local wine valley in Hermanus has over 15 wineries offering over 70 different wines, 10 tasting rooms and 4 fabulous lunch time restaurants all set in amazing scenery.

We offer 2 hour tours - up to - full day tours (about 6 hours) of this region

We collect you door-to-door and supply a luxury air-con brand new minibus with chauffeur tour guide, who has also completed a wine course with the Cape Wine Academy, so that we can discuss all sorts of aspects regarding wine, its history, vine growing procedures, cellars, bottling, corks, barrels, exports and much more…….

We also supply a large cooler box of ice-cold soft drinks (free of charge), pay for all your wine tasting fees at each winery, box of crackers to cleanse your palates between tastings, John Platter wine book so we can see what the experts have to say about each wine you taste and many more comforts on board…..

Our Hermanus wine tours start at R350 per person for 2 hours and each additional hour is R50 per person per extra hour. We can start at any time you desire, but most people prefer a leisurely start of 10.30am / 11.00am as they don’t want to taste wine with toothpaste and breakfast still on the palates :-))

Further afield - we can venture to Stellenbosch or Franschhoek, these are full day tours leaving at 09.30am and returning at about 18.00pm/19.00pm - there are many areas and wineries to visit. Usually we would fit in about 4 to 7 wineries – while lunch can be at any of the many restaurants in the area. We can also visit a Cheetah and Eagles sanctuary, where you can actually stroke a Cheetah – R100 to stroke an adult / R200 to stroke a baby – and R40 to visit the eagles and have one placed on your arm – both are fabulous photo opportunities.

Chocolate and wine pairings and olives and wine pairings are also highly enjoyable.

These full day tours are R1000 per person.

Conversing in English, Afrikaans and some French, German, Spanish and Italian. (Larger groups are easily accommodated too in larger vehicles).

Further afield tours are available too – Namaqualand Flowers, Route 62, Garden Route, collections or drop-offs at George or PE airports, etc…………..
