Perfecting Wine Tourism

WINE DESK is a wine tourism consultancy based in one of the most visited destinations in South Africa, the V&A Waterfront in Cape Town. Created by Ligia de Coito as a direct result of her passion for wine, with a vision to become a professional South African wine tourism and marketing consultancy providing a tailored service to niche clients. Ligia spent 9 years in the wine industry prior to 2002. She is well known in the wine industry because of her position of course developer and course co-ordinator at the Cape Wine Academy and has now earned recognition in the tourism industry (local and international) for her dedication to perfecting wine tourism. She has led a tour for wine and food lovers to the wine regions of France in 2000, and in 2004 to Northern Italy, and is a member of SKAL International and Cape Town Tourism.

Knowledgeable consultants are on hand to assist anyone with an interest in visiting the Winelands, from wine enthusiasts to wine connoisseurs. Tours are designed and arranged, accommodations booked, restaurant reservations made, and any acitivites in the Winelands such as hot air ballooning, cycling, horse-back riding, picnics, hikes, and many more.

Behind the scenes, Ligia receives online enquiries and takes a personal interest in her clients, being very hands on from initial enquiries, advising and making all arrangements to welcoming them to Cape Town. No enquiry is too small or too big. There is something for everyone from all walks of life.
