Spring 2010 Couch to 5K Program

Whether you're new to running or just coming back to the sport, a couch to 5K program is a great way to get into the swing of things. Each program session includes a 9 week easy to follow running schedule, weekly group run to help you keep on track and meet new friends, nutrition for runners, aid in equipment selection and unlimited access to Kate for all your running related questions.

We will be training for a great cause, the Seattle Schools Boardwalk 5K on Sunday, April 25th*. Check out the link for more information: www.schoolkidscomefirst.com/boardwalk/

Weekly Group Runs: 2/25, 3/4, 3/11, 3/17 (Wednesday instead of Thursday), 3/25, 4/1, 4/8, 4/15, 4/22, 4/25 (Race Day)

  • There is no requirement to run the race, nor raise any additional money. Couch to 5K session cost does not include race registration.
 

Qualifications

Kate Robinson is a NASM certified personal trainer and marathon runner. She is a member of the Marathon Maniac and has completed 11 marathons (9 in 2009), numerous 1/2 marathons and currently leads a successful running group in Seattle.

She is an avid runner with infectious energy who will help you keep motivated to reach your running goals.
