Fishermen's Inn is your portal to one of the last remaining wild frontiers. With 30 years of Alaskan outdoor experience, and ten years of hosting at the lodge, our roadless homestead location has for sure become a lodge worthy of its local status. A newly built cabin features top-notch amenities in the heart of an untouched Southeast Alaska. Fishermen's Inn offers an amazing way to experience Alaska. With Fishermen's Inn, you can fish wild streams made exclusively available to you! Our Forest Service Special Use Permit allows unprecedented access to wilderness lakes and streams for our clients through our private vacation package.

Food is a key part of any adventure. Fishermen's Inn takes over and provides a delicious assortment of nourishment. All food is provided, including snacks. Continental breakfast items include cereal, fruits and rolls. Lunch and a wonderful home-cooked dinner are prepared for you along with plenty of fresh baked bread and goodies. We also provide a private hot tub and those heavy, soft, white robes. Fishermen's Inn takes care of air transportation between Sitka and Fishermen's Inn in Port Alexander. This amazing flight lasts about 45 minutes. Your fishing licence, sales tax, bed tax, kayak fees, and all fishing gear is included! Our specialty is custom tailoring your trip to your interests and activity level!

Delight in two days of guided fly-in fishing with Kevin, the operation owner. Kevin is a licensed guide with the Forest Service and has an exclusive Special Use Permit. He is also a licensed sport-fishing guide with the state of Alaska. It takes all this to be able to fly you into remote mountain lakes and streams, packed with rainbow and cutthroat trout. Here in Southeast Alaska we can fish for all 5 species of salmon! Fly fishing and saltwater fishing at it's very best!

At Fishermen's Inn there are no charter flights called in. Fishermen's Inn operates and maintains it's own floatplane to provide the best service in the safest possible manner. Charter flights limit visitors in what they can see and do. Our floatplane opens up possibilities, places, and schedules!

Enjoy two full days of guided saltwater fishing with Glen of Chatham Strait Charters for halibut, salmon, lingcod and a large variety of rockfish. You first 100 lbs. of fish will be processed for your trip home (filleted, vacuum-packed, frozen and boxed). There will be a minimal fee for extra pounds.

We have four, 2-person kayaks available for all our guests to enjoy! The paddle through the lagoon from the Fishermen's Inn beach is awesome!

Accommodation details:

Fishermen's Inn is near the beach yet tucked away and secluded! A perfect place to get away in comfort and feel the raw frontier at the same time! Fishermen's Inn has an entertainment system with DSS satellite television and music that is provided for your enjoyment. Upstairs you will find a master suite with a private bath, Select Comfort queen size bed, a loft with twin sized mattress and an office area. A smaller room is also available with a semi-private bath, twin Select Comfort beds, and a loft with another twin mattress.

There is also a stand alone cabin! It is very private and quiet. Clean, cozy, and well equipped. Accommodations like this are very difficult to construct in such a remote setting. That also explains why Fishermen's Inn is such a rare find! All the hard work has been done by The Mulligan's show through in every detail!.

Prices do not include airfare to and from Sitka, Alaska or alcoholic beverages (these must be purchased prior to arriving at Port Alexander).Please note that all of Fishermen's Inn guests believe there is a reasonable limit to the amount of fish they need to bring home. It is good to have a limit. We proudly offer vacuum packing and blast freezing for up to one hundred pounds of filleted fish for each person.

What's included:

Fishermen's Inn also covers your fishing license, food, on-site lodging, kayaks, and all taxes! Alcohol is not included. It can be purchased in Sitka and flown in with you. Fishermen's Inn respects the environment, we provide a wonderfully sustainable experience, not an exploitative fish harvest.

Fishermen's Inn wants to keep things very private with groups of eight or less. Our rate for a FIVE day stay is STILL just $3,600.00 US. We ask for $500.00 up front and the balance to be paid at the end of the trip.
