Sundays- Long Beach: Josie teaches Salsa in Long Beach at a private studio:
Limited to 3 couples each 4 week session. Call to pre-register

Sunday Nights - Long Beach: Josie teaches Salsa at the gorgeous Cafe Sevilla Restaurant and Night Club (140 Pine Ave., Long beach, CA 90802)
8:00-9:00PM: Salsa 1 with DJ Karlos
9:00-10:00PM
$5/person for 2 Hours of lessons plus DJ Karlos Spins Latin Music till 1AM!
Q: I'm shy and don't know many people, will I be bored or feel awkward?
A: A party is what you make of it. If you come with a fun-loving attitude, you will have a great time. If you are shy, we have a fun and easy dance lesson which allows you to dance with many members of the opposite sex throughout the night. =) Plus I am at every event as your host and instructor to make sure that you meet all my other friendly students & friends.
Q: How should I dress?
A: Ladies & men dress casual to upscale: casual dresses as well as jeans are both acceptable. Men, come in dress pants and a shirt or jeans and a t-shirt- whatever makes you comfortable. Shoes should allow you to dance with control. Please no flip-flops, back-less sandals or sneakers because they are too hard to dance in. If we are at a club, then please dress appropriately for the night club (usually collared shirt for men and no flip-flops or gang-wear).

Due to her presence on the internet and through her instructional video series, Josie became one of the most sought-after instructors and performers worldwide. Josie is known for her easy-to-learn teaching methods and spectacular performance ability.
Being honored with an invitation to teach at the very first World Salsa Congress in Puerto Rico in 1997 (an honor being the only instructor from Los Angeles invited), and the first Salsa Festival in Japan in 1997, Josie quickly made a name for herself and is currently asked to do workshops in various cities across the Globe. Josie Neglia was also a feature dancer in the movie "DANCE WITH ME" with Vanessa Williams & Chayanne.
December of 2002 was Josie's life-changing gift from God, the birth of her beautiful daughter Mia who became the reason for Josie to continue sharing the gift of dance in a new way.
In August 2005, Josie decided to fulfill her life-long dream of opening her own Dance Academy that would be the center of dance for young and young-at-heart. Latin Dance Academy has attracted people of all cultures, sizes, and back-grounds. Josie hand-picked the incredibly talented instructors who represent the top in their fields: from Salsa to Hip Hop.
