Usually you fly amongst multiple balloons. Passengers take photos of each other's hot air balloons...

The hot air balloon flight is one hour plus or minus in the sky followed by a complimentary champagne, non-alcoholic drinks and hors d'oeuvres tailgate party. This provides a great opportunity for passengers to communicate with the pilots, crews and other passengers! Normally there are multiple balloons so passengers take photos of each other's hot air balloons and the photo exchange arrangements can start here at the tailgate party with an exchange of email addresses.

Flights depart daily from a state licensed balloonport at Modica Farm, approximately a quarter mile ride from The Spain Inn II Restaurant located near Clinton, New Jersey, at sunrise or approximately 1 1/2 hours before sunset. The company was established by Tom Baldwin who acquired his private pilots license in 1970 while growing up on a dairy farm located next to a small airport. He was introduced to ballooning through a college friend, and started flying in 1974. In his early years of ballooning, he was a "rent-a-pilot" for:

• Malcom Forbes of Forbes Magazine

• Rocky Aioka of Bennihana Restaurant

He has flown specialized "shape" balloons for Malcom Forbes in France, such as the Sphinx, Elephant, and French Chateau. In 1987, he purchased his first balloon, and founded In Flight Balloon Adventures.

In 1987 "In Flight" was established to provide a more personalized flying experience.
