Wine tasting social and swing dance class

Learn how to swing dance and have a go at wine tasting at this fun and unique social event. For the first hour of the session, guests will relax, mix and mingle while enjoying wine, bread and cheese. Wine lovers will have a chance to swirl, sniff and sip their way through 8-10 wines accompanied by and matched with delicious cheeses and bread. Every week we taste wine from a different region and country. You will learn the differences and qualities in wines and really gain an appreciation for wine tasting.

After tasting all the wines, a 60 minute swing dance group class will follow, conducted by teacher Zack, featured as 'Best of NY' by New York Magazine.

At these classes, designed for beginners, you will learn new moves, techniques, and complete beginner level choreographies, which will help you to develop different skills. No commitment to a fixed schedule is necessary. Each class is designed to allow you to get a taste of the dance in a beautiful studio with a fun atmosphere.

Zack came to New York City to complete his academic studies, and soon became fascinated with Latin and ballroom dancing. After completing his MBA program, he began taking classes with local dance experts. At that time he started voluntarily teaching his colleagues at PricewaterhouseCoopers salsa. In 2001, after acquiring teaching experience and outlining a functional idea, he left the corporate world, gave up his position as analyst, and started two ventures. The first one was EZ Shelving - a startup company dedicated to develop and market his patents. The second venture, Zack's Dance Loft, was his first step into the world of having fun while teaching dancing. Indeed, as a result of out-of-the-box thinking, he managed to create an outstanding dance studio were everybody loves to dance, and an exceptional product that many admire.
