Detailed description:
During the BollyBasics course, students will learn the fundamentals of Bollywood and Pop Bhangra dance. This class is dedicated to learning, reviewing, and repeating basic body movements and steps in a simple choreographed manner. Several short song sequences will be taught during the course, with greater emphasis placed on fundamentals. This course is designed for dancers who want a great cardio workout that focuses more on rhythm, energy, and fun!
All of our courses begin with a warm up that incorporates the basic elements of modern South Asian Bollywood and folk dance, and gets the body warm and ready to move for the remainder of the class. All of our classes also end with a cool down to stretch out all of the muscles used during the class and bring the heart rate down.
