Individual or group skateboarding lessons for any level

Do you dream of pulling awesome tricks on a vert ramp or just want to master the basics of skateboarding and learn some of the simple tricks? Either way, our one-on-one courses are guaranteed to help improve your skills whatever your initial ability.

The classes are intended to be fun and easy to understand. All techniques learned will be a key element in preparing students to be able to skate at the local public skate parks. Taking our courses will enable students to adapt more easily to the different kinds of terrain that they will encounter. Our professional instructor with up to 20 years of experience is dedicated to maintaining high teaching standards and finding new and creative ways of helping students learn.

What you will learn:

Beginner Courses

• Learn how to stand on a skateboard, proper form and posture, turn left and right,

accelerate and stop.

• Introduction to skateboard safety and how to fall the proper way.

• Learn tail skits, acid drops & other fun tricks!

Intermediate Courses

• Learn how to do kick turns, carve, grinds, drop ins, axle stalls, rock to fakie, ollies, tail

taps, and more!

Advanced Courses

• Learn how to ollie up a curb, pop shove it, nollies, 180s, and other advanced techniques!

Skateboarding School was founded by Luiz Louie (or Louie Louie, as most people know him as). Louie was born and raised in New York City. After spending the first thirteen years of his life in Lower Manhattan’s Chinatown, his family moved to Brooklyn, where he picked up his first skateboard and hasn’t stopped since. Louie will skate just about anywhere but his favorite spots are usually out on the streets, ledges, the Brooklyn Banks, you name it (however he has been spotted out at Riverside Skate Park an awful lot lately). Some of his favorite tricks are nollie flips, 360 flips switch, frontslide flips, and blunt slides but he also enjoys the challenge of learning anything new.

Louie has been a professional skateboarder sponsored by numerous companies for the past 12 years. He has been teaching children and adults how to skateboard for over 10 years. Louie has taught at renowned private schools and sports camps across the tri-state area.
