Choreographers Showcase

Now entering its fifth year, Stage Dor’s Choreographers Showcase is an eagerly-awaited bi-annual event that features works from new and established Bay Area choreographers. A diverse range of dance styles will be performed, offering something for everyone - from romantic duets to innovative modern solos to sizzling jazz ensembles. These dynamic artists will spark your imagination and feed your soul!

This showcase features works by: Paloma Ardiles, Kelly Bowker, Joshua Brown, Kate Burton, Natasha Carlitz, Malia Connor, Nathan Cottam, Sterling Deaves, Heidi Landgraf, Lee Rauch, Valerie Russell, Saki Suto, Patricia Ter Heun, and George Young. The show also features three new works by Stage Dor owner and artistic director, Doree Clark.

Showtimes are Friday, February 26th and Saturday, February 27th, at 8:00 pm each night; the show runs approximately 70 minutes. Tickets are $25 per person.

The Choreographers Showcase is presented in Stage Dor’s 100-seat theatre which is magically transformed from its regular usage as a dance studio for children, teens, and adults.

At Stage Dor, we are committed to fostering strength, discipline, confidence and a lifelong passion for dance and movement. We offer more than 35 classes and workshops per week, including the traditional disciplines of Ballet, Modern, Contemporary, Jazz, and Ballroom. We also offer specialty dance classes such as Flamenco, Salsa, Belly Dance, Urban, Swing, Tango, and Hip Hop, as well as a range of western and eastern inspired exercise and movement classes in Pilates, Zumba, and Egoscue Method. We present four sell-out shows per year in our 100-seat "black box" theatre.
