The 'mini' Art Weekend - Washington DC - Photography, photoshop and more

The Art Weekend is on the road and the finest teachers are gathering to share with you their knowledge! Join us for a weekend FULL of amazing art classes in photography, photoshop, illustrator, and indesign. There are four classes a day and each class is a little under two hours long giving you enough time to learn the basics and to practice new techniques. Class sizes will also be small (no more than 20 in each class) so you can get all the attention you deserve.

Class Detail:

• Complete Photography 101 Crash Course Classes - complete intensive workshop. Learn to use Camera's manual settings, and techniques in exposure and composition.

• Illustrator Basics - discover the basics of Illustrator to get you on your way to creating logos, graphics, and vector illustrations. Don't know what vector is? That's a very good reason to take this course.

• Creating an Identitiy - how to create graphics unique to you or your client. We'll cover the basics of logos, blog headers, and web buttons. An ideal class for up and coming entrepreneurs.

• Photoshop Basics - learn Photoshop's most useful tools and become familiar with the workspace. Use Photoshop to enhance your photos by improving colour and contrast. Learn about layer masking and actions

• InDesign - the best program to use for books, brochures, and newsletters. Learn to create templates in InDesign to keep the look of your publications consistent.

• Digital Workflow for photographers - learn to use Camera RAW, an industry-preferred way to enhance your photos and manipulate your images without damaging the original file.

Nicole Hill Gerulat has been a photographer for over 8 years and started teaching her popular photography classes in September 2007

Nicole works alongside Mike Loveland, photoshop expert and director of post production for stock photo company Rubberball and Alma Loveland, a freelance designer. Together they run fantastic and ever popular Art Weekends and Photography, Photoshop and Illustrator crash courses to name but a few.
