We at Long Lane Honey Bee Farm have designed this one day beekeeping course to cover topics on basic and advanced beekeeping. Those interested in becoming beekeepers as well as those who have kept bees for a few years will benefit from this class. I'm excited about this class too because my wife will be teaching along with me, and my daughter will be teaching a class on queen rearing as well. You can be sure of a fun filled, informative beekeeping course.

It will be held in a fully equipped Forrest Preserve facility about 5 miles south of interstate 74 half way between Champaign, and Danville, Illinois (Central Illinois). This is a beautiful area and the facilities are equipped with a comfortable meeting room, indoor restrooms and a full kitchen.

Get a few friends to come along with you! Registration cost is $79 and includes lunch, a hive tool and outlines from the teachings. Once your registration is confirmed we will send you a complete information packet with directions, course syllabus and more. At our last class people came from all over: Ohio, Illinois, Missouri and California.
