Mosaic Mirror Workshop

Make a unique mosaic mirror frame to keep or to gift. This workshop runs over two Saturdays and is suitable for beginners. In the first session learn what glues, materials and tools to use and make your mosaic. In the second session learn how to mix, colour and apply grout to your mosaic and finish the mirror ready for hanging on the wall.

Those who have already made a mirror on a previous Smashing Chintz workshop can choose to do an alternative project.

Janine Nelson runs Smashing Chintz mosaics from her studio in South London. She makes a range of mosaics using recycled and vintage china which she sells at craft fairs and in shops and galleries.

She has run mosaic workshops from her studio for many years as well as at The Make Lounge, the Barbican Centre, Hackwood Arts Festival and recently at Hope and Elvis in Nottinghamshire.
