Knit a Neuron!
The Knit a Neuron project is a collaborative science and art project.
We need your help to make hundreds of woolly brain cells! These will be sewn together to make a display which will raise funds for the Head Injury Therapy Endowment Fund. The neurons will be made into an artwork to go on display in the foyer of the new brain imaging centre, CRIC (Clinical Research Imaging Centre) due to open later this year. Come along and discuss the latest research on the brain with neuroscientists, pick up your needles and crochet hooks and help raise funds for charity! It takes place on Tuesday 2nd March 8pm at the Pierian Centre, 27 Portland Square, Bristol BS2 8SA. The price of £3.50 includes tea/coffee and biscuits. Bring needles and/or hooks – beginners welcome!
Qualifications
The Pierian Centre is a Conference Centre and community meeting place - a social enterprise dedicated to bringing all sectors of the community together. We're in a beautiful Grade 1-listed building at 27 Portland Square, St Pauls, Bristol BS2 8SA.
