Woodland Ways operates fun, practical and realistic Bushcraft & Survival courses throughout the UK. Based in our main camps in Oxfordshire, Derbyshire, Leicestershire, and Lincolnshire our team of instructors will work with you to move beyond the realms of pure survival.
Survival skills are key to the knowledge we pass on, but we go further than this on each and every course - into the realms of Bushcraft. Bushcraft for us is about making the most sustainable use of the natural resources available to you in order to work in harmony with your environment.
With a relaxed, fun and friendly approach we believe is the best way for our instructors to share with you the skills of our ancestors. Through practical, hands on training, we will guide you through many different aspects of bushcraft, including building your own shelter, collecting and purifying water, fire lighting by friction, traps and snares, game and mammal preparation, navigation and natural foods to name just a few.
