Essential Foodie Event - Herzog Cooking Master Classes!
Learn to produce ourstanding dishes with our team of Masterchefs and then enjoy a 3-course lunch with matching Herzog wines in our famous gourmet restaurant.
Our cast of young, dynamic and highly skilled chefs are delighted to unlock the mystery of gourmet cuisine. Herzog’s Head Chef, Boris, is one of the ‘hot new chefs’ having sweated under such great culinary masters as Thomas Keller of Per Se, New York, Tetsuya Wakuda of Tetsuya’s, Sydney and Germany’s 3* highlight, J Wissler of Vendome fame, so you can be sure to learn a lot more from Boris than at your average cooking class - ideal for the next time your in-laws or gastro-snob mates invite themselves for dinner. Just watch their amazement as you present them with your 3 course gourmet wonder!
The classes take place on a Saturday morning starting with refreshments at 9am followed by a briefing from Boris and his team about the morning ahead. Boris will then take you through the preparation of your 3 course lunch menu made from the day’s freshly delivered market produce and herbs and veges from the Herzog potager. Then it’s your turn to get involved (dig in, sweat, partake…) as much or as little as you like!
Following the class, your invited lunch guests will join you for lunch in our gourmet restaurant. Our Sommelier will also be on hand to present the matching Herzog wines. Coffee and sweet treats are served after dessert and a collection of the day’s recipes will be presented to each ‘student’ to take away as a memento of the day.
The cost of one class is $180. This includes refreshments on arrival, the full morning class and 3 course lunch with matching Herzog wines. The cost for a guest to join you for lunch is $120.
