Horse riding adventures in Mongolia
Explore remote regions of Mongolia, riding through untouched wilderness and experiencing fascinating local culture. These are not 'tours' in the traditional sense, but suited to anyone with a sense of adventure and a desire to get off the beaten track.
The areas of Mongolia we ride in are difficult to get to, with erratic flights and challenging roads, which is why we are very unlikely to encounter any other foreigners there. Tourism really hasn't made it to these special places. For those who do make the effort, beautiful untouched landscapes, fascinating local culture, and perfect riding country awaits. If you have ever dreamed of galloping across the open steppe with the wind in your hair, this is the place to live that dream.
Our maximum group size is 10. Our rides are 'non-itinerised'. If you need to know where you will be going each day, where you will stop for lunch, and for how long, our rides are not for you. However if you like the idea of exploring vast wilderness, following new routes and riding where the mood takes you, with a desire to experience the unexpected, then ride with us!
Most of our trips run for 17 days.Qualifications
We are a Kiwi-Mongolian partnership, combining in-depth knowledge of the local area and culture, with the level of organisation and safety you would expect before heading in to the unknown. We have been running treks in Mongolia for adventure-seeking riders since 2004.
