The new yoga studio is on the roof, overlooking the wide quiet beach and framed by the mountains behind. Morning classes are energetic, evening classes are slower and explorative. Classes focus on meditation, breath and relaxation.

After the revitalising morning yoga class, breakfast in the sunshine is a feast of freshly squeezed orange juice, cleansing-energy booster smoothies, special herbal teas for those wanting to detox or fresh Moroccan coffee, tasty cereals, fruits, Morocco’s creamy yoghurts, breads, omlettes, eggs, crêpes.... Lunch is light and delicious and dinner is so good we all tend to think about it during evening meditation when we should be clearing the mind!!!

Afternoons can be spent relaxing by the pool, joining the surfing classes, galloping horseback along the beach, indulging in hammams and massages, exploring the local market or reading tarot with me.

There is one night off yoga and dinner, which normally involves a night into the village (You get a free pass for booze and meat!!) AND the option to have a fasting day of just soups and juice).

Verity was certified by the International Sivananda Organization as a Yoga Shiromani (teacher of Yoga) in 2005 and has travelled around India and Sri Lanka advancing her knowledge of Yoga and Meditation. In London she continued her studies with Yoga Anatomy Training with Pete Blackaby, Birthlight Perinatal Yoga, Subtle Yoga training (Yoga Junction), Hatha Yoga teacher-training Diploma from the British School of Yoga, The Anatomy of Movement Diploma from Gary Carter, Energy Channelling with Tracey Ash, Usui Reiki Ryoho (qualified Reiki Practitioner), Fascial Dissection/common injury dissection at ICL and Meditation at various Buddist Monasteries. Her teaching style is a mix of Sivananda, Hatha, Ashtanga, Scaravelli and flow yoga, focusing on alignment, breath and meditation, incorporating eastern philosophy with modern science to help understand the subtlety of energy and spirit. She has rid herself of the physical pain that came from mis- alignment and is dedicated to helping people understand their beautifully designed bodies. She has been teaching full time for 5 years.
