ABOUT HAKUBA:

Hakuba is located on Honshu, Japan's main island - in the Nagano region, just a few hours from Tokyo. We like to think of the Hakuba Valley as the Chamonix of Japan - you'll find 11 mountain resorts, 130+ lifts sitting under some of Japan's most stunning alpine peaks, reaching almost 3000m. With endless powder (Hakuba receives up to 14m of snowfall per winter) and plenty of varied terrain to explore, there is something for everyone. The village itself has a lot to offer - plenty of little bars, restaurants and party spots to check out - all linked by shuttle bus. Tied in with this incredible winter riding experience is an abundance of Japanese history and culture - which you will see all around you as temples and shrines line the winding streets buried under snow, along with our cultural day tour to the famous Snow Monkey Onsen & Zenkoji Temple in Nagano.
