In the summer of 2010, join a small group of writers in the magical setting of Paris's Left Bank and spend a week being immersed in stimulating new experiences. Whether you write poetry, fiction, nonfiction, memoir or simply whatever moves you at the moment, the Left Bank Writers' Retreat is guaranteed to awaken and energize your writing. Each morning our group will work on writing projects and spend the afternoon exploring the city's museums, cafes and little-known literary haunts. Any project you are working on will benefit from our daily attention to scene, setting, dialogue and description.

Limited to six participants per session, you'll be guaranteed time each day to focus on your work and receive personal help from the instructor. Our sessions will take place in a comfortable, light-filled apartment central to the hotels, parks, cafes, and shops of the Left Bank. There are currently two sessions: Session 1: June 20-25, 2010 and Session 2: June 27-July 2, 2010.

Your registration fee includes lunch each day, snacks, museum passes, literary tours, a wine tasting, and Batobus pass. (You'll be responsible for your hotel accommodations, transportation to Paris and other meals). We will be happy to provide a list of area hotels.

Restocking the writing 'well' in the City of Lights inspired the work of Hemingway, F. Scott Fitzgerald, James Joyce, and Gertrude Stein...

and it can do the same for you.
