Professional Made-to-measure Bra-making Course
Start a new career making custom bras for other women
Ready-to-wear bras can’t fit everyone. Studies show that 7 out of 10 women aren’t happy with the fit of their bras. Learn to make custom bras and start a rewarding sewing business that can easily build into a full-time career. This unique professional course is eight weeks long and is geared to the construction and fitting of custom bras. When you complete this course, you can start your own custom bra-making business. The course has both classroom training, sewing lessons specific to bra-making and client work, under close personal supervision. Industry construction methods are taught but we encourage you to bring your own machine. All classes are held Monday through Friday and are limited to 8 students. Applicants must have excellent sewing skills and an understanding of pattern drafting. All materials used during the course are included. Machines are available to rent for out-of-town students. Lodging can be arranged. Dates for 2010 are Monday September 13 - Friday November 5, 2010

She has a wealth of experience in the design, draft, fit and construction of bras of all types on all body shapes imaginable. Beverly has authored the Bra-makers Manual as well as Make & Fit your own Bra, and has taught thousands of women to sew their own bras.
