Horrah – A bicycling revolution is upon us!
What with London still in shock over the introduction of the Barclay’s city bike scheme and the recent unveiling of the amazing Copenhagen wheel – a Hybrid e-bike wheel that turns a normal bike into an electric cycle.
And now the launch of Going Going Bike – an on-line community and auction site for bicycle lovers. If you are into biking or think that one day you might want to buy or sell a bike, this is a name you should remember.
Going Going Bike offers an eBay style auction facility so anyone can sell their unwanted bicycles and bike kits.
On the site, you can find and bid for vintage bikes, old skool fixies and other unusual second hand bikes, that might be difficult to find in traditional second hand bike stores.
Going Going Bike are also big fighters in the struggle against bike crime – promoting their Prove it campaign to sellers and buyers on the site and teaming up with bike registration people Bike Revolution.
Make sure you check Going Going Bike community pages with a blog and upcoming bike events pages – The next event is being held on 24th August at East End bike shop ‘Look mum, no hands‘. They also have a latest campaigns section – promoting people such as Olly Broom on his charity ride from the UK to Australia, to see the Ashes.
…and for the bike fanatics, collectors and admirers our there there is a special Bike Love area – it’s not what you think (or maybe it is), have a look!
Bike love for the Ooh.com chariot
To sum up – we bike fans at Ooh.com like it a lot. It offers a bicycling one-stop-shop and looks like it will be a great and growing resource for biking people everywhere.
Don’t forget to also check out the bike tours and trips loads of independent biking businesses from Phuket to Cornwall have listed on Ooh.com
