Kids Senior Tap Dance Classes with RED HOT RHYTHM

The next step up from the Intermediate level. Students will be expected to have a reasonable understanding of most commonly used tap steps, which will be put together in a variety of increasingly challenging combinations. The students will be encouraged to push their own boundaries, and to attempt some of the more 'tricky' steps in the tap dance repertoire. (Suggested ages: 12 and over)

Red Hot Rhythm was created in early 2007, with the goal of utilising world class performance and choreographic content to provide a performance experience never seen before. What started off as a one man venture quickly became a full performance troupe, featuring a selection of Australia’s best tap dancers, Irish dancers, and a range of spectacular musicians from a variety of different cultures, all committed to one common goal – to amaze and astound audiences worldwide with an amazing performance experience.

In only two years since Red Hot Rhythm’s humble beginnings in 2007, the troupe has had a wide range of incredible performance experience, seeing it become one of Australia’s leading providers of tap dance entertainment. Apart from a significant list of corporate performance credits both in Australia and overseas, Red Hot Rhythm was invited to perform alongside the world’s best as guest performers at the Melbourne International Tap Festival in 2008. In early 2009, Red Hot Rhythm performed as part of the nationally screened television show Australia’s Got Talent. Met with standing ovations for each of their performances on the show, the two tap dancers and two Irish dancers made it the Grand Final show as the judges choice, and placing 5th overall out of over 1200 talented acts, Red Hot Rhythm secured their name as Australia’s top dance and group act.
