DAY 1 Embark Ushuaia
DAY 2/3 Cross Drake Passage
DAYS 4/5 Enter Gerlache Strait
DAY 6 Explore northern end of Antarctic Peninsula, begin to retrace Shackleton's path
DAY 7 Schedule to land on Elephant Island
DAYS 8/9 Cruise among South Orkney Islands and across towards South Georgia
DAY 10 Enter King Haakon Bay, with plans for a ceremonial landing at Cave Cove where Shackleton made his first landfall after the epic open boat voyage
DAYS 11/15 Explore South Georgia, while crossing party traverses the island
DAYS 16/17 At sea
DAYS 18/19 Visit southern islands of the Falklands, continue towards the South American coast
DAY 20 Disembark Ushuaia where trip concludes
